Research Partners.

Research Partners are service users or carers who have an ongoing (defined as three months or more) role in contributing to research projects or other research activity in the Faculty. In return for contributing their expertise as service users or carers, Research Partner status offers them a recognised status and a number of university benefits including a UWE email account, library card, access to online library electronic resources (e.g. journal articles) and an ATHENS log-in. Research Partner status lasts for two years in the first instance, but may be renewed.
If you would like to offer Research Partner status to a service user or carer you are working with, please first discuss with the scheme co-ordinator, David Evans, tel: 0117 328 8750, email:
There is a simple application form for the scheme as well as two other UWE staff forms that need to be completed to enable the above benefits. Research partners will also need to provide two passport photographs.
